Unbreakable

This is my beloved sister. Before my other family members ask me where are theirs, I better make it clear. Yours will soon be uploaded once I have them. My sister, many say we look alike. Some say I look like a male version, some say she looks like the female version. No matter what she will always be my sister that I love lots and appreciate alot. I hope to see her achieve more than I have. Errr...what did I ever achieved except those football medals?

Nature

My sister tells everyone that I take pictures of flowers and grass. But I can't deny, and neither can anyone, that beauty is manifested in these creations. The bittergourd flower (top) tells me of the bitterness of life but yet its beauty is in the overcoming of life's challenges. The "dragon fruit" flower, to me symbolises life itself. The thorns that grow on its cactus like plant is like the petty problems in life but at the end of it all is hidden a huge flower waiting to bloom. What a trumendous sight. What a awesome experience and the result-joy and perfection.

Images

I guess sometimes life seems slanted, unfair. Sometimes our life seems like a reflection of others more influencial. Sometimes life seems distance from the real picture. Beneath every image lies a soul that yearns to make living meaningful. Searching shouldn't end in vain. It should be joy that results from searching.

Memories

These pictures of the sun set were taken and edited a little (contrast and resize). Somehow that day, the sky was blue instead of the usual orangy colour. That's my grandpa's (maternal) house now belonging to my uncle's family. Grandpa passed away early last year. Didn't had the chance to hear him say goodbye. I manage to pray for him an hour before he left for a better place. He was and will always be a great man I adore. His patience, wisdom and knowledge has always challenged me to live life to the fullest as he did to a good old age of 85. A man who spoke the Queen's english, a good friend of Robert Kwok, infact to many, a cheerful and generous man with patience second to none. In loving memory.

Direction

This season is somewhat of mix feelings. Don't you think so? Just like the windmill I shot in Lumut, our lives sometimes become like it. Where the wind blows we go. If onlt the windmill can decide where it wants to turn. On the other hand, we are different. We can decide. Will you decide for the better of your future, loved ones and those close to you? I wonder...I'm deciding...
