Singing for the Lord

Here are some of the pictures from the 6 nights of evangelistic concert that was held over a period of a week. Sadly, I couldn't attend the nights at Pangkor and Taiping as I was tied up with work. Nonetheless, 3 nights at Alor Setar, Sitiawan and Penang was already very satisfying. Some times, we can be so held up with work and all sort of other worldly matters. We tend to forget our Father's business. Indeed I was so touch by Juby's testimony (her family's) that it moved me to tears knowing how much she and her late husband love the Lord. They knew what it meant to trust in the Lord and believing Him for miracles in life.

Her husband was a famous song composer, composing songs for various singers in the likes of Ah Mei and Wang Li Hom...and many others. All in all, he wrote 500 hit songs over 3 decades. But the Lord took him home last year while leaving behind a legacy of testimonies to be shared with people who are lost and out of love.

Kang Qiao is no stranger in Malaysia. Seeing him singing for the Lord is already a testimony.

The Lord is doing great things in the lives of celebrities in the chinese community across Asia. When he raises icons like these to sing and evangelise for Him, He will be glorified.

Waves of Revival

The power of God can create the universe
The love of God can save everyone
The grace of God is always sufficient
The forgiveness of God is never ending

His forgiveness is over those who receive
His grace is freely given to all
His love sets the heart free
His power brings forth miracle

Our God is such an awesome God. The many lives of Christians with very distinct backgrounds which have been transformed by His love, grace and power are powerful living testimonies. Some of those, still in their infancy as Christians are already giants in the community. Impacting and bringing about transformation through the only Good News they know are the two best things they know how to do.

Only a week has passed and I am already swept off my feet by the powerful testimonies I've been listening to. Kang Qiao has his testimony echoing throughout the country since his salvation last year. However, the one that impacted me most was Juby's testimony (in fact it should be her family's testimony). God's hand is clearly moving. His hands are holding her family together, by His grace. Many were moved to tears. As for me, I shed tears of joy. I pray and really hope God will continue to use them (Juby, Kristine, Matilda, Joshua and Isabella) and the many celebrities (including Kang Qiao) to shake the nations to fulfill the Great Commission. God indeed is moving...Ride the waves of revival.

p.s. Look out for this space as pictures of the Evangelical Concert by Kang Qiao & Juby will be displayed within this week.
